Usage:

Shaft orbital plots are generated from vibration data acquired from a pair of orthogonally placed radial sensors. These are usually eddy current transducers mounted on fluid film bearings.

In this simulator, 1X "filtered" orbits can be generated by only utilizing a single frequency component (F1) in each probe's signal. The amplitude and phase of each of these probe's signal can be manipulated.

One can generate orbit plots with a second frequency component whether sub-synchronous or super-synchronous, by specifying F2 frequency parameters.

Entering machine running speed will ensure the correct number of timing marks are plotted. Entering the phase probe location w.r.t (TDC) will place the timing mark in the correct location on the orbit.

It is important to acount for the X/Y probe pairs' orientation. A number of configurations are available for selection in the drop-down menu.
