Explanation & Usage:

Frequently, while performing rotor balancing, whether in-situ in the field, or on a balancing machine in the workshop, the balancing calculations require the placement of a balance weight at a location where balance holes/slots do not exist or are unusable.

To circumvent this issue, a simple weight splitting procedure is carried out, such that two weights are placed on adjacent balance holes/locations that provide the same end result of the original unsatisfied location.

In this simple calculator, simply enter: Direction of shaft rotation, number of equally spaced balancing holes/locations, the angle between the first (0th angle) balancing hole/location and the phase reference mark, and the required correction weight size and angular location.

The program searches for the two nearest balance locations (above and below the required angle) and determines the appropriate split wight sizes for the two available locations.
